Template License Agreement

1. Grant of License

HireKit.co ("HireKit," "we," "us") grants you a free, non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to use the resume templates ("Templates") available on this page for personal and professional purposes, subject to the terms below.

2. Permitted Uses

You may:

• Download, edit, and customize Templates for your own job search and career purposes
• Use Templates to create resumes for submission to employers, recruiters, and job boards
• Share individual customized resumes created from Templates with prospective employers
• Remove or modify the HireKit footer credit in your personal copies

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or offer the Templates (in original or modified form) as standalone products or as part of a competing template collection
• Claim authorship or original ownership of the Template designs
• Use the Templates in any product or service that competes directly with HireKit's template offerings
• Remove or alter the HireKit copyright notice in the Template metadata for the purpose of misrepresenting authorship
• Bundle Templates with other products for commercial sale without written permission from HireKit
• Use automated tools to mass-download Templates for purposes other than personal use

4. Intellectual Property

The Template designs, layouts, structure, and associated branding are the intellectual property of HireKit.co, a product of 2 Squirrels AI, LLC. This license grants usage rights only — it does not transfer ownership of the underlying design intellectual property.

Content you add to the Templates (your personal information, work history, skills, etc.) remains entirely your own property.

5. Attribution

Attribution is appreciated but not required for personal use. If you share a Template publicly (for example, in a blog post, career resource, or social media), we kindly request a credit linking back to hirekit.co/templates.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

Templates are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. HireKit does not guarantee that the use of any Template will result in job interviews, offers, or employment. Applicant tracking system (ATS) compatibility depends on many factors beyond template design, including the specific ATS software used by employers, how you customize the template, and the content you add.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall HireKit, 2 Squirrels AI, LLC, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Templates. This includes, without limitation, any damages for loss of employment opportunities, lost profits, or loss of data.

8. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. HireKit may terminate this license at any time if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the unmodified Templates in your possession. Any resumes you have already customized and submitted to employers are not affected by termination.

9. Governing Law

This license shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from this license shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delaware.

10. Changes to This License

HireKit reserves the right to modify this license at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Templates downloaded before a license change remain subject to the license terms in effect at the time of download.
