5. Review the 10-point ATS validation score
6. Download in DOCX (primary) or PDF format

The ATS Validation Score

Before you can download, HireKit validates your resume against a 10-point checklist:

1. Standard section headers present
2. Contact information in body text
3. No tables or complex formatting
4. Proper date formatting
5. Keyword density sufficient
6. File size under limit
7. Consistent formatting throughout
8. No special characters or symbols
9. Proper heading hierarchy
10. Readable font and size

A score of 8 or above is required before download is offered.
